The Big Bang Theory franchise is set to expand once again with a new spinoff series focusing on George Cooper Jr., the eldest child of George and Mary Cooper.
Montana Jordan, known for his role as Jamal Turner in the Netflix series All American, has been cast as young George Cooper Jr. The series will follow George's life in Montana, where he lived with his family before moving to Texas.
Young Sheldon, the prequel to The Big Bang Theory, has provided glimpses into George Cooper Jr.'s life, but the upcoming spinoff will delve deeper into his character and his relationships with his family and friends.
The series is set to premiere in fall 2023 on CBS and will be produced by Chuck Lorre Productions and Warner Bros. Television.
